How to Stop Giving a Shit what People think About You

Do you want learn how to stop giving a shit what people think about you? Are you ever paralyzed by thoughts of, “what will they think”!? Or have you ever stopped doing something you love for fear of being judged or ridiculed?

Well, today, I’m sharing the 3 ways of thinking that I have adopted to no longer give a shit what people think about me. Remembering that we’re all in this human boat together. And everyone has insecurities and fears. Understanding this is an easy way to shift your mindset and get you back on the path of being creative.

When you realize that everyone judges themselves, it helps us to understand that it’s not necessary to be our own worst enemy. Your work, your voice, your message, your artistry, will not be received well by EVERYONE. When you realize this, it’s a helpful way to stop giving a shit what people think about you.

Some people may think you are a creative genius, while others could think you are a completely talent-less moron. Learning to be OK with both is a huge step in being at peace with yourself and your art.

Finally, empowering others who may be dealing with similar challenges, is a great way to stop giving a shit what people think about you.

When we exit out of our own drama that we carry in our head and support others, we can more clearly see our own insanity. It has to become more important for us to take care of our artistic selves, than caring what other people’s views are.

Training our minds to take positive and negative feedback is a great way to grow thick skin. And another way to stop being held hostage by other people’s judgments.
